It was gorgeous out today. I'm very glad we took advantage of it to go out for brunch and meander down Queen West with Cow. *^^* ( there was shopping )

The timing could definitely be worse--Honey and Clover ended last week, much more suddenly than I was expecting [see also: 24 ep. series and BLAH], but today Paradise Kiss showed up for download.

My final verdict on the Honey and Clover anime is that I really enjoyed it (and would like to see the manga--surprise, surprise!), but IMO it did wind up ( Read more... )

Right now my room is the geeky corner of our flat. ^^ Furuba wallscroll on one wall (manga art!), and the color pic of Haru and Rin (framed *^^*) on another. Whee!

Tentative release date of February 8th for Tori's new album. That's not so far off. If she does a solo chunk of the tour and hits Toronto during it, I will be absolutely desperate to get there. There's a definite problem with bookstores that let you stand around and read manga (besides the obvious one of needing to examine your merchandise to make sure some moron hasn't damaged it in advance)--you read, you want. >.< As a result, after several occasions where I stood about in Waldenbooks and peered at stuff, I succumbed to my need for a ( Read more... )
